Difficult question. But this is the question everyone organization faces when deciding to adopt Scrum. Professional Agile Leadership happens when senior leaders, middle managers, and agile team members fully embrace their responsibility to empower their teams and to favor self-organization to solve complex problems.

Scrum and Agile require a shift in the way most teams work today, but it is essential if an organization wants to capitalize on the benefits of an agile product delivery approach.

This is why scrum.org’s Professional Agile Leadership – Essentials (PAL-E) is my favorite course to teach. The impact that this course can have on an organization is huge. And the students always walk away with practical tools, tips, and ideas that they can immediately apply to their organization.

Professional Agile Leadership Essentials (PAL-E) is a 1-day workshop created by Scrum.org to provide a foundation for leaders to help their organizations be successful with Agile and Scrum. This workshop uses a  combination of instruction and team-based exercises to help participants learn how to empower teams and enable self-organization within their organizations.

The changes for all involved are profound. By becoming professional agile leaders we change the way work is organized, managed, and measured. This journey isn’t easy, but if we can reach this level of alignment and focus, the results can be amazing.

This year, through a partnership with the Project Management Institute-North East Indiana Chapter (PMI-NEIC), I’m teaching the PAL-E course on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Click here to register!

Here’s a preview of some of the topics we’ll:

It’s a packed day of Professional Agile Leadership lessons that you can use to immediately help your teams improve and deliver “done” product increments that delight your customers.
