Dave is the product owner at Scrum.org. In this role, he is responsible for sheperding the work that Scrum.org does to improve the profession of software development.
The future of Scrum is very bright. Since being introduced to the world 21 years ago by Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland, Scrum is used by 90% of Agile teams.
But what’s next?
Dave and I discussed what’s in store for Scrum in the future, how scaling plays a role in shaping the future vision of Scrum, and what Scrum.org is doing to help teams learn how to deliver “done” increments of software.
And then…we called it a day.
I’d like to thank the Central Ohio Agile Association for putting on The Path to Agility Conference and for allowing me to interview the speakers and attendees at the conference.
Path is one of my favorite agile conferences each year. If you have not attended, you are missing out.
